Tarot in Context: Learn Tarot Cards Contextually Through Stories

This is a premium, colour printing of Tarot in Context, intended as an eye-catching gift to share with friends or as an item to entertain guests in waiting rooms. The Tarot cards are Juan Buain's custom vitraux-style rendering of RWS. Each Tarot card has its own two-page spread and the pages are sorted in deck order for easy access to a given page. A large-print black-and-white version is also available at a more affordable price. About Tarot in Context You read one or more of the many introductory book about Tarot. You might have started doing readings for friends and family. But the cards themselves stay elusive. Some cards look too similar. Their differences seem to elude you. Remembering all the 78 cards by rote learning is not working. Tarot in Context accompanies your journey of learning by putting the cards in a context where you can see them inaction. Many Tarot cards express similar concepts, with subtle differences in degree and reach. Tarot in Context proposes a fun way to learn these differences: by seeing how they modify the course of action of a given story. From a central premise, choosing different tarot cards from hand-picked groups of "confusing" triplets of cards, 52 different stories unfold. Seeing how different cards evolve a central story, you can relate each card back to the central story. This allows for your memory to make"hooks" in your brain to place the cards and retrieve them faster and more easily. Tarot in Context is "Choose Your Own Adventure(TM)" with Tarot Cards. The central story deals with Susan Mckenzie Robinson, at a the crossroads in love, work and family. Each story is very short, 4-5 pages in length. The different stories can be browsed or certain cards can be reviewed directly, seeing how they affect a given substory. It includes also an analysis of how the divinatory meaning of each Tarot card affects the different substories.
