Description
This volume is part of a two-volume work designed to present a focused discussion of the major investigational areas which are representative of a range of activity and the “pieces of the puzzle” that are currently in place to make significant near term advances in the management of cerebral glioma. This first volume presents the rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary body of knowledge about the development, molecular biology, molecular genetics, and pathology of human cerebral gliomas. Volume II synthesizes the considerable amount of information on the classic and evolving tools in the clinical treatment of gliomas, and further presents practical guidelines for contemporary clinical management within the framework of medicine’s current, collective knowledge. Physicians who demonstrate their comprehension of the material presented in “Benign Cerebral Glioma, Volumes I & II” by completing and self-scoring ten multiple choice questions corresponding to each chapter may earn 30 credit hours (15 hours per volume) in Category I of the Physician’s Recognition Award of the AMA. The Category I credit hours are awarded upon the return of a brief evaluation form and a modest processing fee.
