I’ve watched miracles happen as our Neurology team worked so closely together unitedly. I developed such a compassion for the patients and wanted to provide the best possible care that I could provide as a dietitian. I wanted to contribute and make a dramatic difference in the lives of the patients and their families. Therefore, I begin to look at areas of concerns, research strategies and the tools to promote better outcomes in regards to nutrition. My goal is to share the nutritional strategies in reducing length of stay, maintaining nutritional status, minimizing or preventing sarcopenia, preserving lean body mass and getting your patient home as independently as possible.
